Whether you decide to elope in the woods or have a glamorous fete with all of your friends and family, what matters most on your wedding day is that it authentically and uniquely celebrates your love and allows you to be true to yourself.
Your wedding day doesn’t have to – and shouldn’t – be stressful. You don’t want to feel like you are putting on a show for anyone. You just want to be with your partner and the people that you love most in the world, celebrating the fact that you found your person. Isn’t that special enough?
Throw tradition to the wind, wear the pink dress, don’t invite people who make you feel less than the beautiful tropical fish you are (Parks & Rec, anyone?). The world is your oyster!
If you’re looking for a photographer who’s laid back, is always down for a sunrise hike, loves to have some fun with old film cameras, is obsessed with her Aussie Shepherd mix, and wants nothing more than to help you have the most chill, fun wedding day ever,
I’m your girl!
Based in Minneapolis, but ready to travel the world with you
You deserve to feel safe and valued; not just on your wedding day, but every day. I am excited to document your love story regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, culture, religion or ability.
It is also important to me that my work has as little negative impact on the environment as possible. I follow the guidelines of Leave No Trace as a part of that. Essentially, that means leaving every place we go better than we found it. If you would like to learn more, check out the Leave No Trace website here!
"Working with Meghan allowed us to be ourselves instead of looking like a couple we weren’t. As a bride who originally did not want to hire wedding photographers, I am so glad we found Fox and Loon!"
"We knew we wanted to elope in Yosemite National Park, but weren't sure how to handle the details. Meghan did all of the background work – scouting locations, creating a detailed timeline, and thinking of thoughtful details. It's not enough to say our wedding photos are everything we dreamed they would be- we simply never could have dreamed they would be this good. We are forever grateful to Meghan and would shout her praises from the rooftops (seriously give us a rooftop and we will be there)."
On your wedding day, your photographer is close by nearly all day. It meant so much to have Meghan there – a calming presence on what can be a stressful day."

What are the steps of the booking process?
If you are ready to make an inquiry for your wedding, elopement, or couples session, head over to my contact page and complete the contact form. I respond to all inquiries with 24-48 hours, so if you do not receive a reply in that time, please check your spam folder! I will send over my FAQ and pricing guide, as well as the link to set up a video call with me. This really helps us both get a feel if we are a good fit for each other, and I can answer any more questions you might have.
Once you’re fully set on booking me (yay!), send me an email to let me know along with the package you would like to book. I will send over a contract and invoice for you to review. Contracts are important because they protect both me and you throughout our entire process of working together. Your initial invoice will be 30% of your total booking cost. If you want to split this up into smaller payments, that’s okay too! Just make sure to let me know ahead of time.
Then, it’s time to start planning!
Most people choose wedding or elopement packages between 8-10 hours, although shorter options are available. 8 hour wedding packages start at $3,200, and 10 hour packages start at $4,000. A second photographer can be added to any package for $100 an hour.
How many hours of photography coverage do we need for our wedding?
This is dependent on a lot of factors, such as how many locations are involved in your wedding day, if you are having a full reception, or if you want”getting ready” photos. That being said, most people book between 8-10 hours for wedding or elopement photography coverage. Many people who book shorter packages often end up adding time, which is always an option!
How would you describe your photography style?
While we will absolutely get a few posed portraits of you on your wedding or elopement day, my style is mostly candid. I love to capture the little, real moments throughout the day. My editing style is true to color, so you will still look and feel like yourself when you look back at your photos in the years to come.
Do you photograph weddings and elopements outside of Minnesota?
YES! I am always down to travel for your destination wedding or elopement, or even engagement sessions!
All photos are sent through a digital gallery delivery service. You can share your gallery with others, download photos to your own devices, and even order prints through the print shop. Engagement sessions are delivered within 4 weeks of the session date, and weddings and elopements are delivered between 4-8 weeks of the event date. The number of photos you receive is dependent on how many hours you book. Weddings and elopements receive 50-100 images per hour and engagement sessions typically receive 100 images.
Yes! If you are interested in adding film photography to any package, we can make that happen!
